• No 2 seed wins thrilling final 6-4, 4-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 • Djokovic fought back after having angry words with umpire Novak Djokovic dug deep to beat Dominic Thiem in a thrilling five-set final and win his eighth Australian Open crown. The No 2 seed looked to be in trouble when he lost the second set and exchanged angry words with the umpire. Thiem then ran away with the third set in search of his first grand slam title but Djokovic was not to be denied.
